Kansas High School Volleyball - Smith Center over Republic County

The Smith Center Redmen volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the host Republic County Buffaloes to 0 in the Redmen non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Redmen now have a 14-7 record. They play next when they travel to Minneapolis for a non-league outing on Saturday, October 4. Smith Center will play a Lions team coming off a 2-0 league loss to Ellsworth (Ellsworth, KS). The Lions record now stands at 11-9.

With the loss, Republic County drops to 7-17 on the campaign. The Buffaloes host Marysville (Marysville, KS) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league outing on Thursday, October 2. The Bulldogs come into the outing with a record of 5-13. Marysville won 2-1 in their recent league game against Wamego (Wamego, KS)
