The Republic County Buffaloes volleyball squad (Belleville, KS), dropped 2-0 in Saturday's non-league contest with the host Smith Center Redmen (Smith Center, KS)

The Redmen (5-6) will now prepare for their contest against Phillipsburg (Phillipsburg, KS). The Panthers enter the Mid-Continent contest with a 5-3 record. In their last contest, Phillipsburg beat Alma (Alma, NE), 3-1, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Buffaloes meet the Lyons Lions (Lyons, KS) in a North Central AA contest, on Tuesday, September 30. Republic County will attempt to upgrade on its 4-12 season record.
