The Stayton Eagles volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Sweet Home Huskies to 0 in the Eagles league triumph on Thursday.

The Eagles now have a 5-7 record. They play next when they travel to Pleasant Hill for a non-league outing on Saturday, October 4. Stayton will play a Billies team coming off a 3-2 league loss to La Pine (La Pine, OR). The Billies record now stands at 8-8.

With the loss, Sweet Home drops to 9-7 on the campaign. The Huskies host Cascade (Turner, OR) to play the Cougars in a 4A Oregon West outing on Tuesday, October 7. The Cougars go into the game with a record of 10-4. Cascade won 3-2 in their recent league game against Newport (Newport, OR)
