Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the Stayton Eagles (Stayton, OR) and the host Sweet Home Huskies (Sweet Home, OR), observed Stayton's volleyball team top Sweet Home by a count of 3-1.

The Eagles (9-9) will now prepare for their contest against North Marion (Aurora, OR). The Huskies enter the 4A Oregon West contest with a 2-14 record. In their last battle, North Marion dropped by Philomath (Philomath, OR), 3-0, in a league battle.

The Huskies now own a 10-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cascade for a 4A Oregon West battle on Thursday, October 23. Sweet Home will encounter a Cougars squad coming off a 3-1 league win over Newport (Newport, OR). The Cougars record now stands at 14-5.
