In Thursday's non-league match, the host Sully Buttes Chargers football squad scored a close 14-12 victory over the Potter County co-op [Gettysburg/Hoven] Battlers.

In their next game, the Chargers clash with the Irene/Wakonda Eagles (Irene, SD) in a non-league match, on Thursday, October 27. Sully Buttes will attempt to move on its 7-2 season record. The Eagles enter the match with a 4-5 record after their 61-52 non-league win over Corsica/Stickney (Corsica, SD).

This game is a part of the 2022 SDHSAA High School Football Playoff Brackets (South Dakota) - Class 9B tournament
