South Dakota High School Football - Sully Buttes topples Potter County co-op [Gettysburg/Hoven]

The Sully Buttes Chargers (Onida, SD) football defeated the visiting Potter County co-op [Gettysburg/Hoven] Battlers (Gettysburg, SD), 36-6 in Friday's league bout.

In their next game, the Chargers face the Langford Lions (Langford, SD) in a non-league bout, on Friday, September 2. Sully Buttes will attempt to advance on its 2-0 season record. The Lions enter the bout with a 0-2 record after their 58-8 league loss to Ipswich (Ipswich, SD).

The Battlers now sport a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Faulkton for a non-league game on Friday, September 2. Potter County co-op [Gettysburg/Hoven] will meet a Trojans team coming off a 50-14 league loss to Hitchcock-Tulare (Hitchcock, SD). The Trojans record now stands at 0-2.
