The Central Rockets held off the visiting McHenry Warriors volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Thursday's league test.

The Rockets now have a 17-17 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Glenbard South for a non-league test on Tuesday, October 25. Central will confront a Raiders team coming off a 2-0 league win over Elgin (Elgin, IL). The Raiders record now stands at 8-26.

The Warriors (17-18) will now prepare for their test against Harlem (Machesney Park, IL). The Huskies enter the non-league test with a 16-20 record. In their last test, Harlem was nudged by Hersey (Arlington Heights, IL), 2-0, in a non-league test.
