Texas High School Volleyball - Nacogdoches crushed by Porter

The Porter Spartans topped the visiting Nacogdoches Dragons volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Friday's league test.

The Spartans now have a 16-25 record. They put it on the line next when they host Huntsville for a 5A Region II District 16 test on Tuesday, October 24. Porter will confront a Hornets team coming off a 3-1 league win over Dayton (Dayton, TX). The Hornets record now stands at 20-20.

The Dragons (5-29) will now prepare for their test against Lufkin (Lufkin, TX). The Panthers enter the 5A Region II District 16 test with a 32-14 record. In their last test, Lufkin was knocked off by Kingwood Park (Kingwood, TX), 3-2, in a league test.
