West Caldwell Warriors (Lenoir, NC) fans went home in high spirits Monday as they observed their soccer squad triumph over the host Draughn Wildcats (Valdese, NC), 10-1 in a league outing.

The Warriors (12-5) will now prepare for their outing against R-S Central (Rutherfordton, NC). The Hilltoppers come into the Western Piedmont 3A/4A test with a 2-14 record. In their last test, R-S Central was overwhelmed by Hibriten (Lenoir, NC), 6-0, in a league test.

The Wildcats now have a 1-13 record. They take the field next when they host Chase for a Western Piedmont 3A/4A test on Wednesday, October 22. Draughn will clash with a Trojans team coming off a 6-1 league win over East Burke (Connelly Springs, NC). The Trojans record now stands at 7-8.
