Shelton Gaels (Shelton, CT) fans were thrilled Friday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Lyman Hall Trojans (Wallingford, CT), 2-1 in a league challenge.
Next, the Gaels confront the Lauralton Hall Crusaders (Milford, CT) in a Southern Connecticut - Housatonic challenge, on Monday, October 24. Shelton will attempt to better on its 7-8 season record. The Crusaders enter the challenge with a 9-6 record after their 3-0 league win over Law (Milford, CT).
The Trojans now have a 4-13 record. They take the field next when they host Wheeler for a non-league challenge on Friday, October 21. Lyman Hall will confront a Lions team coming off a 7-2 non-league win over Harvard Ellis Tech (Killingly, CT). The Lions record now stands at 4-7.
