In Tuesday's league battle, the host Shelton Gaels soccer squad scored a close 3-1 triumph over the Lyman Hall Trojans.
The Gaels (2-5) will now prepare for their battle against Lauralton Hall (Milford, CT). The Crusaders come into the Southern Connecticut - Housatonic battle with a 2-3 record.
The Trojans (1-6) will now prepare for their battle against St. Bernard (Uncasville, CT). The Saints come into the non-league battle with a 3-1 record. In their last battle, St. Bernard nudged Tourtellotte (North Grosvenordale, CT), 6-1, in a non-league battle.
