The Parkland Matadors held off the visiting Hanks Knights volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Friday's league test.
The Matadors now have a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Horizon for a test on Tuesday, October 25. Parkland will confront a Scorpions team coming off a 2-0 league win over Bel Air (El Paso, TX). The Scorpions record now stands at 18-6.
The Knights (18-7) will now prepare for their test against Ysleta (El Paso, TX). The Indians enter the test with a 1-5 record. In their last test, Ysleta was nudged by Horizon (El Paso, TX), 2-1, in a league test.
