The Chester Yellowjackets volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Goodrich Hornets to 0 in the Yellowjackets league victory on Friday.
The Yellowjackets now possess a 30-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Leggett for a game on Tuesday, October 25. Chester will meet a Pirates team coming off a 3-0 league loss to High Island (High Island, TX). The Pirates record now stands at 0-6.
The Hornets (1-11) will now prepare for their game against Spurger (Spurger, TX). The Pirates enter the 1A Region IV District 26 game with a 10-17 record. In their last game, Spurger was dropped by Burkeville (Burkeville, TX), 3-1, in a league game.
