Texas High School Volleyball - Longview over Marshall

The crowd at Friday's league bout between the Longview Lobos (Longview, TX) and the visiting Marshall Mavericks (Marshall, TX), saw Longview's volleyball squad beat Marshall by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Longview upgrades its record to 22-15 on the year. The Lobos travel to Pine Tree (Longview, TX) to play the Pirates in a 5A Region II District 15 bout on Tuesday, October 25. The Pirates go into the bout with a record of 22-19. Pine Tree lost 3-0 in their recent league bout against Hallsville (Hallsville, TX)

The Mavericks now own a 20-21 record. They play next when they host Hallsville for a 5A Region II District 15 bout on Tuesday, October 25. Marshall will play a Bobcats squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Pine Tree (Longview, TX). The Bobcats record now stands at 33-6.
