In Monday's non-league challenge, the visiting Dan River Wildcats volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Martinsville Bulldogs.
The Wildcats (10-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Nelson County (Lovingston, VA). The Governors come into the non-league challenge with a 4-12 record. In their last challenge, Nelson County was beaten by Appomattox County (Appomattox, VA), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Bulldogs meet the Patrick County Cougars (Stuart, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, October 23. Martinsville will attempt to upgrade on its 0-8 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 9-6 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to James River (Buchanan, VA).
