Excelsior Classical Academy Flying Lions (Durham, NC) boosters exited the stadium pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the visiting Vance Charter Knights (Henderson, NC), 4-2 in a league outing.
The Flying Lions (17-0) will now prepare for their game against Henderson Collegiate (Henderson, NC). The Pride come into the Triangle North 1A/2A game with a 7-14 record.
The Knights (7-7) will now prepare for their game against Eno River Academy (Hillsborough, NC). The Bobcats come into the Triangle North 1A/2A game with a 3-13 record. In their last game, Eno River Academy by Woods Charter (Chapel Hill, NC), 1-0, in a non-league game.
