North Carolina High School Soccer - Excelsior Classical Academy knocks off Vance Charter

In Thursday's league outing, the visiting Excelsior Classical Academy Flying Lions soccer squad scored a nice 8-0 win over the Vance Charter Knights.

The Flying Lions (11-0) will now prepare for their outing against Northern Durham (Durham, NC). The Knights enter the non-league outing with a 3-6 record. In their last outing, Northern Durham was overwhelmed by Voyager Academy (Durham, NC), 3-2, in a non-league outing.

Next up, the Knights confront the Henderson Collegiate Pride (Henderson, NC) in a Triangle North 1A/2A outing, on Tuesday, September 30. Vance Charter will attempt to improve on its 3-4 season record. The Pride enter the outing with a 5-12 record after their 9-2 league loss to Oxford Prep (Oxford, NC).
