Akron-Fairgrove Vikings (Fairgrove, MI) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the host All Saints Central Cougars (Bay City, MI), 3-2 in a league test.
With the win, Akron-Fairgrove upgrades its record to 8-9 on the campaign. The Vikings host North Huron (Kinde, MI) to play the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Thursday, October 23. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 11-7. North Huron won 3-0 in their recent league challenge against Caseville (Caseville, MI)
Next, the Cougars play the Owendale-Gagetown Bulldogs (Owendale, MI) in a Michigan Summit challenge, on Thursday, October 23. All Saints Central will attempt to upgrade on its 8-15 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 16-4 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Carsonville-Port Sanilac (Carsonville, MI).
