South Dakota High School Volleyball - Avon over Corsica/Stickney

In Tuesday's league challenge, the host Avon Pirates volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Corsica/Stickney Jaguars.

The Pirates (17-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Gayville-Volin (Gayville, SD). The Raiders come into the non-league test with a 26-4 record.

The Jaguars now own a 17-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Scotland for a non-league test on Friday, October 24. Corsica/Stickney will face a Highlanders squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Hanson (Alexandria, SD). The Highlanders record now stands at 4-17.
