The Mission Eagles topped the host Rio Grande City Rattlers volleyball squad by a final score of 3-1 in Tuesday's league game.

Next up, the Eagles confront the Cigarroa Toros (Laredo, TX) in a 5A Region IV District 30 game, on Saturday, October 25. Mission will attempt to advance on its 10-13 season record. The Toros go into the game with a 17-12 record after their 3-2 league win over Nixon (Laredo, TX).

With the loss, Rio Grande City drops to 7-15 on the campaign. The Rattlers travel to Roma (Roma, TX) to play the Gladiators in a 5A Region IV District 30 outing on Saturday, October 25. The Gladiators come into the outing with a record of 13-21. Roma lost 3-0 in their recent league game against Palmview (La Joya, TX)
