Texas High School Volleyball - Rio Grande City tips Mission

Fans at Saturday's league contest between the Rio Grande City Rattlers (Rio Grande City, TX) and the host Mission Eagles (Mission, TX), saw Rio Grande City's volleyball squad nudge Mission by a score of 3-2.

With the win, Rio Grande City improves its record to 3-10 on the season. The Rattlers host Roma (Roma, TX) to encounter the Gladiators in a 5A Region IV District 30 battle on Tuesday, September 23. The Gladiators go into the battle with a record of 10-16. Roma lost 3-0 in their recent league battle against Palmview (La Joya, TX)

The Eagles now have a 6-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Cigarroa for a 5A Region IV District 30 contest on Tuesday, September 23. Mission will meet a Toros team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Nixon (Laredo, TX). The Toros record now stands at 12-9.
