North Carolina High School Volleyball - Watauga over Alexander Central

The Watauga Pioneers (Boone, NC) volleyball overcame the visiting Alexander Central Cougars (Taylorsville, NC), 3-0 in Saturday's non-league outing.

With the win, Watauga betters its record to 21-2 on the year. The Pioneers host Mallard Creek (Charlotte, NC) to face the Mavericks in a non-league outing on Tuesday, October 25. The Mavericks go into the outing with a record of 18-8. Mallard Creek won 3-2 in their recent non-league outing against Charlotte Catholic (Charlotte, NC)

The Cougars now sport a 8-12 record.

This match is a part of the 2022 NCHSAA Volleyball Championships - 4A tournament
