The Tigers (33-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Luling (Luling, TX). The Eagles enter the non-league challenge with a 4-22 record. In their last challenge, Luling was beaten by Stockdale (Stockdale, TX), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Pirates meet the Karnes City Badgers (Karnes City, TX) in a 3A Region IV District 26 challenge, on Friday, October 25. Poth will attempt to upgrade on its 15-22 season record. The Badgers enter the challenge with a 14-22 record after their 3-0 league win over Nixon-Smiley (Nixon, TX).
