California High School Volleyball - Placer tips Yuba City

October 22, 2024: Yuba City, CA 95991

Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the Placer Hillmen (Auburn, CA) and the host Yuba City Honkers (Yuba City, CA), observed Placer's volleyball team hold off Yuba City by a count of 3-2.

The Hillmen (10-11) will now prepare for their contest against River Valley (Yuba City, CA). The Falcons enter the Foothill Valley League contest with a 11-20 record. In their last contest, River Valley got by Del Campo (Fair Oaks, CA), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Honkers battle the Nevada Union Miners (Grass Valley, CA) in a Foothill Valley League contest, on Thursday, October 24. Yuba City will attempt to move on its 11-12 season record. The Miners enter the contest with a 14-22 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Heritage (Brentwood, CA).
