California High School Volleyball - Yuba City Placer

Placer Hillmen (Auburn, CA) followers left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Yuba City Honkers (Yuba City, CA), 3-1 in a league test.

With the win, Placer advances its record to 6-9 on the season. The Hillmen travel to River Valley (Yuba City, CA) to face the Falcons in a Foothill Valley League test on Tuesday, October 1. The Falcons go into the test with a record of 8-16.

The Honkers now sport a 7-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Nevada Union for a Foothill Valley League test on Tuesday, October 1. Yuba City will face a Miners squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Whitney (Rocklin, CA). The Miners record now stands at 7-13.
