In Tuesday's league challenge, the host Port Neches-Groves Indians volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Port Arthur Memorial Titans.

The Indians (26-16) will now prepare for their challenge against Barbers Hill (Mt. Belvieu, TX). The Eagles come into the 5A Region III District 19 challenge with a 31-13 record. In their last challenge, Barbers Hill beat Beaumont United (Beaumont, TX), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Titans play the Nederland Bulldogs (Nederland, TX) in a 5A Region III District 19 challenge, on Friday, October 25. Port Arthur Memorial will attempt to upgrade on its 8-18 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 24-19 record after their 3-0 league win over Sterling (Baytown, TX).
