North Carolina High School Soccer - Manteo knocks off Northeastern

October 23, 2024: Elizabeth City, NC 27909

Fans at Wednesday's league battle between the Manteo Redskins (Manteo, NC) and the host Northeastern Eagles (Elizabeth City, NC), saw Manteo's soccer squad triumph over Northeastern by a score of 9-0.

The Redskins (10-9) will now prepare for their battle against Camden County (Camden, NC). The Bruins enter the Northeastern Coastal 2A/3A battle with a 15-4 record.

Next up, the Eagles confront the Currituck County Knights (Barco, NC) in a Northeastern Coastal 2A/3A battle, on Monday, October 28. Northeastern will attempt to improve on its 2-16 season record. The Knights enter the battle with a 13-5 record after their 9-0 league win over Pasquotank County (Elizabeth City, NC).
