In Thursday's league match, the Jal Panthers (Jal, NM) volleyball squad overcame the host Hagerman Bobcats (Hagerman, NM), by a count of 3-1.

Coming up next, the Panthers clash with the Tatum Coyotes (Tatum, NM) in a 2A District 4 bout, on Tuesday, October 28. Jal will attempt to better on its 10-9 season record. The Coyotes come into the bout with a 13-6 record after their 3-0 league loss to Texico (Texico, NM).

With the loss, Hagerman drops to 9-9 on the campaign. The Bobcats host Eunice (Eunice, NM) to battle the Cardinals in a 2A District 4 contest on Tuesday, October 28. The Cardinals enter the contest with a record of 9-9.
