The Jal Panthers topped the visiting Hagerman Bobcats volleyball squad by a final score of 3-1 in Tuesday's league game.

Next up, the Panthers face the Tatum Coyotes (Tatum, NM) in a 2A District 4 game, on Thursday, October 9. Jal will attempt to advance on its 8-5 season record. The Coyotes go into the game with a 9-5 record after their 3-0 league win over Texico (Texico, NM).

The Bobcats (8-5) will now prepare for their game against Eunice (Eunice, NM). The Cardinals go into the 2A District 4 game with a 7-7 record. In their last game, Eunice defeated Loving (Loving, NM), 3-0, in a league outing.
