Virginia High School Volleyball - Herndon can't get by Wakefield

The Wakefield Warriors edged the host Herndon Hornets volleyball squad by a final score of 3-2 in Thursday's league game.
Next up, the Warriors confront the McLean Highlanders (McLean, VA) in a non-league game, on Monday, October 27. Wakefield will attempt to advance on its 7-12 season record. The Highlanders go into the game with a 6-9 record after their 3-0 league loss to Langley (McLean, VA).
The Hornets (3-15) will now prepare for their game against George C. Marshall (Falls Church, VA). The Statesmen come into the Liberty outing with a 15-10 record. In their last outing, George C. Marshall edged Herndon (Herndon, VA), 3-1, in a league outing.
