In Monday's league battle, the visiting Monroe-Woodbury Crusaders volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Newburgh Free Academy Goldbacks.

The Crusaders (13-4) will now prepare for their battle against Washingtonville (Washingtonville, NY). The Wizards come into the Section 9 Orange County I battle with a 12-9 record. In their last battle, Washingtonville lost by Pine Bush (Pine Bush, NY), 3-0, in a league battle.

Next, the Goldbacks encounter the Valley Central Vikings (Montgomery, NY) in a Section 9 Orange County I battle, on Tuesday, October 25. Newburgh Free Academy will attempt to advance on its 0-15 season record. The Vikings come into the battle with a 8-9 record after their 3-0 league win over Middletown (Middletown, NY).
