The Monroe-Woodbury Crusaders volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Newburgh Free Academy Goldbacks to 0 in the Crusaders league victory on Monday.
The Crusaders now possess a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cornwall Central for a non-league game on Tuesday, October 4.
The Goldbacks (0-8) will now prepare for their game against Our Lady of Lourdes (Poughkeepsie, NY). The Warriors enter the non-league game with a 6-2 record. In their last game, Our Lady of Lourdes was dropped by Scarsdale (Scarsdale, NY), 2-1, in a non-league game.
