Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the Goochland Bulldogs (Goochland, VA) and the visiting Orange County Fighting Hornets (Orange, VA), observed Goochland's volleyball team top Orange County by a count of 2-0.

The Bulldogs (14-5) will now prepare for their contest against Fluvanna County (Palmyra, VA). The Flying Flucos enter the non-league contest with a 8-5 record. In their last contest, Fluvanna County was knocked off by Louisa County (Mineral, VA), 2-1, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Fighting Hornets battle the Monticello Mustangs (Charlottesville, VA) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, October 29. Orange County will attempt to move on its 4-10 season record. The Mustangs enter the contest with a 3-16 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Western Albemarle (Crozet, VA).
