North Carolina High School Soccer - Hayesville nudges Tri-County

In Thursday's league outing, the visiting Hayesville Yellowjackets soccer squad scored a tight 1-0 victory over the Tri-County Jaguars.

The Yellowjackets (7-6) will now prepare for their outing against Cherokee (Cherokee, NC). The Braves go into the Smoky Mountain 1A outing with a 0-12 record. In their last outing, Cherokee was edged by Blue Ridge Early College (Cashiers, NC), 5-0, in a league outing.

Next up, the Jaguars play the Swain County Maroon Devils (Bryson City, NC) in a Smoky Mountain 1A outing, on Monday, October 28. Tri-County will attempt to improve on its 2-13 season record. The Maroon Devils go into the outing with a 9-7 record after their 0-0 league Highlands (Highlands, NC).
