In Monday's league contest, the Hayesville Yellowjackets (Hayesville, NC) soccer team routed the visiting Tri-County Jaguars (Murphy, NC), by a count of 8-0.

Next, the Yellowjackets battle the Swain County Maroon Devils (Bryson City, NC) in a Smoky Mountain 1A contest, on Wednesday, September 18. Hayesville will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Maroon Devils enter the contest with a 3-5 record after their 4-0 league win over Andrews (Andrews, NC).
