The Seaside Seagulls held off the visiting St. Helens Lions soccer team by a tally of 1-0 in Thursday's league game.

Next, the Seagulls face the Tillamook Cheesemakers (Tillamook, OR) in a 4A Cowapa game, on Tuesday, October 29. Seaside will attempt to advance on its 5-6 season record. The Cheesemakers come into the game with a 8-3 record after their 4-2 league win over Banks (Banks, OR).

The Lions (0-12) will now prepare for their game against Astoria (Astoria, OR). The Fishermen come into the 4A Cowapa game with a 7-3 record. In their last game, Astoria edged Scappoose (Scappoose, OR), 3-2, in a league game.
