Fans at Wednesday's league battle between the Seaside Seagulls (Seaside, OR) and the host St. Helens Lions (St. Helens, OR), saw Seaside's soccer squad knock off St. Helens by a count of 4-2.

The Seagulls (4-2) will now prepare for their battle against Tillamook (Tillamook, OR). The Cheesemakers enter the 4A Cowapa battle with a 5-2 record. In their last battle, Tillamook tipped Banks (Banks, OR), 7-1, in a league battle.

Next up, the Lions battle the Astoria Fishermen (Astoria, OR) in a 4A Cowapa battle, on Saturday, October 12. St. Helens will attempt to upgrade on its 0-7 season record. The Fishermen enter the battle with a 2-3 record after their 1-1 league Scappoose (Scappoose, OR).
