Mountain Ridge Miners (Frostburg, MD) boosters exited the stadium pleased Friday as they witnessed their soccer team get by the host Fort Hill Sentinels (Cumberland, MD), 2-1 in a non-league test.

The Miners (8-6) will now prepare for their outing against Allegany (Cumberland, MD). The Campers come into the non-league test with a 11-2 record. In their last test, Allegany edged Clear Spring (Clear Spring, MD), 2-1, in a non-league test.

The Sentinels now have a 12-3 record.
