In Tuesday's league battle, the visiting Cranston East Thunderbolts volleyball team scored a tight 3-2 triumph over the Mount St. Charles Academy Mounties.

The Thunderbolts (4-12) will now prepare for their battle against Cranston West (Cranston, RI). The Falcons come into the State Championship Division - B battle with a 0-14 record. In their last battle, Cranston West was edged by Coventry (Coventry, RI), 3-0, in a league battle.

Next, the Mounties encounter the Classical Purples (Providence, RI) in a State Championship Division - B battle, on Wednesday, October 26. Mount St. Charles Academy will attempt to move on its 7-8 season record. The Purples come into the battle with a 6-8 record after their 3-0 league loss to East Greenwich (East Greenwich, RI).
