The Mount St. Charles Academy Mounties volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Cranston East Thunderbolts to 2 in the Mounties league victory on Tuesday.

The Mounties now possess a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Classical for a State Championship Division - B game on Thursday, September 22. Mount St. Charles Academy will meet a Purples team coming off a 3-2 league win over East Greenwich (East Greenwich, RI). The Purples record now stands at 1-2.

The Thunderbolts (1-4) will now prepare for their game against Cranston West (Cranston, RI). The Falcons enter the State Championship Division - B game with a 0-3 record. In their last game, Cranston West was nudged by Coventry (Coventry, RI), 3-0, in a league game.
