New Mexico High School Volleyball - Sandia over West Mesa

In Wednesday's league contest, the Sandia Matadors (Albuquerque, NM) volleyball squad were winner over the host West Mesa Mustangs (Albuquerque, NM), by a margin of 3-0.

Next up, the Matadors battle the Farmington Scorpions (Farmington, NM) in a 5A District 2 contest, on Saturday, October 28. Sandia will attempt to better on its 9-9 season record. The Scorpions go into the contest with a 10-8 record after their 3-2 league win over Piedra Vista (Farmington, NM).

With the loss, West Mesa moves to 5-12 on the year. The Mustangs travel to La Cueva (Albuquerque, NM) to battle the Bears in a 5A District 2 contest on Saturday, October 28. The Bears go into the contest with a record of 14-4. La Cueva won 3-0 in their recent league contest against Eldorado (Albuquerque, NM)
