The Douglas Patriots volleyball squad (Box Elder, SD), dropped 2-0 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Brandon Valley Lynx (Brandon, SD)

With the win, Brandon Valley improves its record to 14-11 on the season. The Lynx travel to Spearfish (Spearfish, SD) to encounter the Spartans in a AA District 1 battle on Saturday, October 26. The Spartans go into the battle with a record of 19-5. Spearfish won 3-1 in their recent non-league battle against Hot Springs (Hot Springs, SD)

The Patriots now own a 12-22 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Watertown for a non-league battle on Saturday, October 26. Douglas will encounter a Arrows squad coming off a 3-2 league win over Jefferson (Sioux Falls, SD). The Arrows record now stands at 18-5.
