In Friday's league challenge, the host Timber Lake Panthers volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Newell Irrigators.
The Panthers (14-17) will now prepare for their challenge against Wall (Wall, SD). The Eagles come into the non-league challenge with a 14-15 record. In their last challenge, Wall beat New Underwood (New Underwood, SD), 3-1, in a league challenge.
Next, the Irrigators meet the Dupree Tigers (Dupree, SD) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, October 26. Newell will attempt to upgrade on its 11-15 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 5-14 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Little Wound (Kyle, SD).
