In Friday's league challenge, the host Palestine Wildcats volleyball team scored a 3-0 victory over the Rusk Eagles.

The Wildcats (16-13) will now prepare for their challenge against Bullard (Bullard, TX). The Panthers enter the 4A Region III District 17 challenge with a 19-19 record. In their last challenge, Bullard was beaten by Madisonville (Madisonville, TX), 3-2, in a league challenge.

Next, the Eagles meet the Center Roughriders (Center, TX) in a 4A Region III District 17 challenge, on Tuesday, October 29. Rusk will attempt to upgrade on its 17-14 season record. The Roughriders enter the challenge with a 3-23 record after their 3-0 league loss to Hudson (Lufkin, TX).
