The Wheeling Central Catholic Maroon Knights edged the visiting Plum Mustangs ice hockey squad by a tally of 3-2 in Thursday's league bout.
With the victory, Wheeling Central Catholic betters its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Maroon Knights host Freeport (Freeport, PA) to confront the Yellowjackets in a bout on Thursday, November 2. The Yellowjackets go into the bout with a record of 1-3.
The Mustangs now have a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Moon Area for a bout on Thursday, November 2.
