The Plum Mustangs ice hockey squad scored 6 points and restricted the visiting Wheeling Central Catholic Maroon Knights to 1 in the Mustangs league victory on Monday.

With the victory, Plum moves its record to 11-7 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Wheeling Park (Wheeling, WV) to face the Patriots in a contest on Thursday, February 22. The Patriots go into the contest with a record of 14-5. Wheeling Park lost 2-1 in their recent league contest against Blackhawk (Beaver Falls, PA)

The Maroon Knights now sport a 7-12 record. They take the field next when they travel to Beaver for a PIHL Class A Blue contest on Thursday, February 22. Wheeling Central Catholic will face a Bobcats squad coming off a 5-2 league loss to Plum (Pittsburgh, PA). The Bobcats record now stands at 9-10.
