North Tahoe Lakers (Tahoe City, CA) supporters were pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host Sage Ridge Scorpions (Reno, NV), 9-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Lakers confront the Churchill County Greenwave (Fallon, NV) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, October 27. North Tahoe will attempt to move on its 12-6 season record. The Greenwave enter the challenge with a 7-5 record after their 6-0 league loss to Lowry (Winnemucca, NV).

The Scorpions now possess a 1-13 record.
