The North Tahoe Lakers soccer team scored 14 points and limited the host Sage Ridge Scorpions to 0 in the Lakers league victory on Friday.

Next, the Lakers face the Quincy Trojans (Quincy, CA) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, September 2. North Tahoe will attempt to better on its 2-3 season record. The Trojans enter the contest with a 1-6 record after their 12-0 non-league loss to North Tahoe (Tahoe City, CA).

The Scorpions now have a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Incline for a 3A Northern - West contest on Tuesday, September 5. Sage Ridge will face a Highlanders team coming off a 1-1 league Truckee (Truckee, CA). The Highlanders record now stands at 0-2.
