North Carolina High School Soccer - Topsail knocks off North Brunswick

In Monday's league outing, the visiting Topsail Pirates soccer squad scored a tight 4-0 win over the North Brunswick Scorpions.

The Pirates (16-6) will now prepare for their outing against Laney (Wilmington, NC). The Buccaneers enter the Mideastern 3A/4A outing with a 15-7 record. In their last outing, Laney tipped South Brunswick (Southport, NC), 7-2, in a league outing.

Next up, the Scorpions confront the Ashley Screaming Eagle (Wilmington, NC) in a Mideastern 3A/4A outing, on Wednesday, October 30. North Brunswick will attempt to improve on its 7-12 season record. The Screaming Eagle enter the outing with a 16-5 record after their 1-0 league loss to New Hanover (Wilmington, NC).
