St. Pius X Sartans (Albuquerque, NM) followers were pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the host Grants Pirates (Grants, NM), 2-0 in a league outing.

The Sartans now have a 12-0 record. They play next when they host Valencia for a non-league outing on Thursday, October 30. St. Pius X will play a Jaguars team coming off a 2-0 league loss to Grants (Grants, NM). The Jaguars record now stands at 4-9.

With the loss, Grants drops to 11-3 on the campaign. The Pirates host Belen (Belen, NM) to play the Eagles in a outing on Tuesday, November 4. The Eagles come into the outing with a record of 3-6. Belen lost 2-0 in their recent non-league outing against St. Pius X (Albuquerque, NM)
